Psalm 23

“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies Your have anointed my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”

Be Still my Soul

Be still my soul, the LORD is on thy side, bear patiently the cross of grief or pain. Leave to your God to order and provide. In every change He faithful will remain. Be Still my soul! Your best, Your heavenly friend, Through thorny ways leads to our joyful end.

Be still my soul, your God doth undertake, to guide the future as He has the past. Your hope, your confidence let nothing shake; All now mysterious shall be bright at last. Be still my soul! The waves and wind still know, His voice who rules them while He dwelt below.

Be still my soul, the hour is hastening on, when we shall be forever with the LORD. When disappointment, grief, and fear are gone. Sorrow forgot, love’s purest joy’s restored. Be Still, my soul! When change and tears are past, all safe and blessed we shall meet at last.

Psalm 42:1-2

“As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants for You, O God. My souls thirsts for God, for the living God; When shall I come and appear before God?”

As the Deer

“As the deer panteth for the water so my soul longeth after Thee. You alone are my heart’s desire and I long to worship Thee.

You alone are my strength my shield, to You alone may my spirit yield. You alone are my hearts desire and I long to worship Thee.

You’re my friend and You are my brother, even though You are a king. I love You more than any other, so much more than anything.

You alone are my strength my shield, to You alone may my spirit yield. You alone are my hearts desire and I long to worship Thee.

I want You more than gold or silver, only You can satisfy. You alone are the real joy-giver, and the apple of my eye.”

Psalm 103:8-12

“The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. He will not always strive with us, nor will He keep His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.”

Wonderful Merciful Saviour

“Wonderful merciful Saviour, precious Redeemer and Friend; Who would thought that a Lamb could rescue the souls of men? Oh, You rescue the souls of men. You are the One that we praise, You are the One we adore. You give the healing and grace our hearts always hunger for, Oh, Our hearts always hunger for.

Counselor, Comforter, Keeper, Spirit we long to embrace; You offer hope when our hearts have hopelessly lost the way. Oh, we’ve hopelessly lost the way. You are the One that we praise, You are the One we adore. You give the healing and grace our hearts always hunger for, Oh, Our hearts always hunger for.

Almighty infinite Father, faithfully loving Your own; Here in our weakness You find us falling before Your throne. Oh, we’re falling before Your throne. You are the One that we praise, You are the One we adore. You give the healing and grace our hearts always hunger for, Oh, our hearts always hunger for.”

Psalm 55:22

“Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.”

“I will cast all my cares upon You. I lay all of my burdens, down at Your feet. And anytime, I don’t know, what to do. I will cast all my cares upon You. I will cast all my cares upon You.”

Psalm 118:1

“Give thanks to the LORD for He is good, for His lovingkindness is everlasting.”

Give thanks with a grateful heart
Give thanks to the Holy One
Give thanks because He’s given Jesus Christ, His Son
And now let the weak say, “I am strong”
Let the poor say, “I am rich
Because of what the Lord has done for us”
And now let the weak say, “I am strong”
Let the poor say, “I am rich
Because of what the Lord has done for us”
Give thanks with a grateful heart
Give thanks to the Holy One
Give thanks because He’s given Jesus Christ, His Son
Give thanks with a grateful heart
Give thanks to the Holy One
Give thanks
